DECADENT BEAUTY

Term "Decadence" is often used to describe a decline due to an erosion of moral, 

ethical, and sexual traditions. In that work I'm trying to abuse my paintings, 

by giving them two points of view. Nothing is obvious, beauty is ugly, ugliness is beautiful. 

Viewer is deciding which version of image is better.

 I had the honor to invite my friend and great portuguese poet João Cardona 

to the cooperation in that project. João presented his own very interesting and

 surprising point of view on "Self-portrait", which he declaimed on the opening day

 of the exhibition.
